Meadow Hay Box

Quite a lot of small bits which I can’t use as concerned they will go into their eyes.

Really nice hay, my guinea pigs and degus love it!

I have been using this hay for a few years now, my bunnies love it, always fresh and clean, and very sweet smelling, excellent hay

I am extremely happy with all the hay I have ordered from The Hay box and so is my rabbit , however I only have one complaint. Can you please deliver all the hay in boxes that will close securely like Small Pet Select do. It is frustrating when they are delivered in plastic and also in boxes that don’t close after opening. The meadow hay was delivered in plastic so storing is a nightmare and the others were delivered in boxes that needed cutting in the middle where they are taped together. This means that to keep the hay from falling out you need to tape it each time you open it again. The boxes that Small pet select deliver in can be closed securely without tape and can be reused over and over again. This is the only downside from buying from you. Other than that the hay is green, healthy looking and obviously tasty… according to my rabbit! Delivery is also very good. Thank you

Kitkat has not been feeling well at all this week but has been slowly getting back on the hay with hay box being her favorite to nibble on!

We were looking for the silky soft hay but it’s in short supply so did a search and your hay looked good and the guinea pigs seem to like it

Our three bunnies love the hay from haybox. A great quality product from a good company. We’re returning customers and we will continue to be. Good service, good product and prompt delivery.

Can’t say I’ve tried eating it myself, but I’ve never had any complaints from my 3 furry potatoes who are more than happy to chow down on the meadow hay without any complaints!

A big favourite went through the last box quicker than expected

So disappointed with this particular meadow hay bale? It’s nothing like it usually is? This order is so coarse, a bit yellow tbh it smelt a bit weird. My rabbits aren’t impressed either. By contrast the Timothy bale was of it’s usual fab quality

I am a bit disappointed. The meadow hay is very coarse. I like that there are lots of long stems but it consists mainly of a large proportion of thick, stiff stems which my piggies ignore, they don't eat the coarse stuff and it is too harsh to burrow into, so they aren't getting as much food or pleasure from it as I would like. They loved the Orchard Hay and the soft Timothy hay I got last time. the soft hay was lovely but not long enough to burrow into. I am hoping the Timothy mix will combine deliciousness with burrowing fun! As I haven't opened the mixed Timothy hay yet, (we are still using the the last of the soft) I will return to the review once I have open the other bags and tried the piggies with the other two hays.

Hay was very, very dusty. The bag was full of it.

They seem to be partial

Always good quality. I’ve bought cheaper but this is much better

Always a great quality hay, my rabbit loves it and is generally very picky. Long strands encourage her to eat more and dig through to find 'the perfect piece' each time, 100% recommend!

Received the wrong product. Not what I expect from being a valued customer for many years. Will be in contact to arrange replacement of order.

I was hoping for soft lush meadow instead i got coarse like straw im having to sort through and throw away very disappointed

The rabbits at the rescue where we sent it absolutely loved it and the staff said it was excellent quality

Great product for the animals & didn't have to wait to long for delivery

The best hay on the market, always fresh, green and dust free, our piggies absolutely love it

This meadow hay is the best quality I’ve ever come across! Green, sweet smelling, hardly any dust at the bottom of the bag its almost like Timothy hay its that impressive!!!

Best hay around . So fresh and Prince absolutely loves it . Wouldn't go anywhere else for his Hay . Amazing service and literally next day delivery.

Hay is perfect, green, sweet smelling, long stalk. Packaging is not the best, the tape sticking the cardboard on one box was starting to separate, but the hay is packaged inside and would have been fine if it had been raining (it was sunny and dry). A bit more sticky tape required? Just a small quibble!

My bunnies love this hay!!

Guineas love this hay - also get various foraging treats Quickly delivered and fresh!

Nice fresh long straw hay

Excellent hay, always green and smells lovely and fresh, I have been buying this hay for a few years and my bunnies love it

Smells delicious even to a human!

Piggies love it

Super fast delivery...My 2 guineapigs Betty and Marjorie love this hay..I won't buy from anywhere else..Lovely fresh meadow hay..Very happy..

My rabbit loved it

My baby bunny loves your meadow hay, it's really helped him settle into his new home

Hi I emailed you to say yet again the DPD have not delivered my hay, I contacted them with no joy.

Good quality hay

Always receive brilliant quality hay. Have been ordering for years from here and my guinea pigs love it!

Best product ever and good value for money

Our guinea piggies love the meadow hay!

Fresh & rabbit loves it

The hat is well packed and the guinea pigs love it. Keep up the good work.

Love the fast delivery and the fact that’s it’s wrapped in a storage bag inside the box is so useful

Meadow hay looks fresh and green with nice thick strands. Piggies love it!

Meadow Hay was extremely dusty.

Buddy and Lilly love your Hay. Lilly passed a few weeks ago but she loved the meadow and a bit of Timothy. Thank you Julie and Buddy

Great hay, my rabbits love it. Thank you

Soft hay is our bunnies favourite

I have been ordering this meadow hay for a few years and it has always been excellent, very green and fresh, smells sweet, no dust or dirty bits, excellent value

Very good quality meadow hay, lovely and green and fresh smell, my bunnies love it !

I was really excited about this order, but the guinea pigs don't seem interested in this hay at all sadly.

The meadow hay is much greener and softer than the hay I had previously. I can not review the taste! It was very convenient to have it delivered while we are away with the guinea pigs!

Verdant and nutritious hay. Yum.

My 2 guinea pigs go mad for this hay it’s excellent couldn’t ask for better green fresh and smells lovely big Thanku

I think I like this hay as much as my piggies do! I've been a bit disappointed with other 'dustfree' brands reducing in quality, so seeing such a lovely quality hay that was green, fresh, dust free, as much as possible, AND smelt delicious was wonderful! When I put it out, there were some excited 'wheeks' and even two popcorns! That to me is a win for the hay!

I haven’t received my box yet and we are completely out of hay

My rabbits don't seem to like this as much as they used too.

My guinea pigs love it and it’s so soft no hay poke with this it’s excellent ‘ shall be ordering more very soon xxxx

One of the bags arrived with a whole even when packed onside a box and recently the hay bags have more short cut are extremely dusty extracts, which is really not good for rabbits.l or humans inhaling it.

Quality product delivered swiftly. Guinea pigs love it.

Sadly, the quality of the last two orders of meadow hay I've received have been of much lower quality than I would expect from Haybox. Two of the bags were not full, and the hay has been extremely dusty and contains lots of long, dry stalks. My piggies have been barely picking at it and I've been throwing most of it away. Hoping the quality improves soon or I'll need to look elsewhere for meadow hay.

My pigs love the hay. Always eating and playing in it and it is always reliable and good with delivery. However, there’s sometimes random pieces of blue rope, but if found it isn’t a problem. Sometimes, the condition of the hay differs depending on weather etc but largely it’s good

The piggies love to eat this moorish hay

Shared between my piggy and rabbit. They both love it equally and gets big wheeks from my piggy

Been subscribed for about 3 months now to this hay, the quality can vary each month as my 2nd bag was very dusty and appeared to have slightly less hay in, however i cant really fault them on that its just something to take into consideration. It is a good quality hay and both my rabbits enjoy it

Always a 5star experience! Iv been ordering my bunnies hay from here for a few years. I had an issue with a bag of hay recently which my bunnies refused to eat, Sinead was great when I emailed and very kindly sent me 2 fresh bags free of charge! Thank you again!

Our last purchase we bought the 2 packs of 5kg of meadow hay and both were full of dust barely lasted us a month. When you buy the single 5kg it's better quality. I don't want to be sceptical but it feels like they purposely give the dusty ones in the multi buy so you go through them quicker. Never had an issue of quality before we choose multi buy. Anyway guineas are happy once more and so are we with haybox.

Lovely hay, been buying hay from haybox for several years

My rabbits still aren't sure about the hay, new to them although one Squirrel seems to enjoy it. I haven't convinced Moose yet. Love the look and smell of it as a human, it seems top quality. Im glad I ordered now, and if I can convince Moose I'll keep the subscription

Rabbit’s favourite ❤️

My rabbits absolutely love this hay, always green and fresh

Very dusty and quite brown.

Piggies seem to like it.

The bags used to be full and almost vaccumed packed - now they have a huge gap at the top of the bag and the hay doesnt last half as long as it used to despite the price! I’m really disappointed with this, my subscription times haven’t changed yet every month I now have to re order early as I keep running out!!

Excellent quality hay and fast shipping.

Fast delivery and large quality bag of hay

Really easy with the subscription. Very well packaged and piggies love the hay.

Mr Mooch loves his haybox

Another box and 100% satisfied again.

The meadow hay, this time, is cut very, very short. It's almost like chaff. The pieces are nicely green but only around 3cms in length. It is also quite dusty compared to other hay I have had from you. Rather disappointing.

My guinea pigs love. Fast delivery

Hello, I was recommended Haybox by a fellow bunny owner and I’m pleased to say my 4 little hoppers have taken to it. The hay is excellent quality and they enjoy munching it! I’ll be back to order more in the future.

Very prompt service - thank you!

My piggies love this hay! I will buy again

My rabbit Bella loves it

Brilliant quality and customer service rapid service the delivery company are a bit of a disaster though

Only hay my bunnies will eat ,, I've tried meadow hay from other places when I've been running low and they don't touch it

Always lovely fresh hay, my guinea pigs love it!

Really efficient delivery

Lovely hay, soft, smells really nice and the guinea pigs love eating it! Only thing I would change is having the strands a bit longer so the piggies can burrow underneath it more easily.

I have been buying this meadow hay for a count of years and my rabbits love it, always green and fresh, smells fresh

My rabbits juts love this and it is their main diet with an additional topping of the herbs, they can't get enough.

Great item for the animals & price

Lovely quality hay - piggies very happy when it arrived!

The hay supplied was packed really well and arrived in good condition, despite the delivery driver leaving the box in the rain, the day after the scheduled delivery date.

Lovely hay as always

Betty and Marjorie the 2 guineapigs are loving the meadow hay it smells and looks lovely and fresh... The only fault that I have with being a long term customer is the change in delivery which use to be 1 to 2 days and is now 5 days waiting..

My piggies absolutely love this hay

Brilliant service as always.

Great product, quick delivery.

Quite a lot of straw in this batch, so not up to your usual standard.

The box I originally ordered didn't arrive, however I contacted Customer Services and communicated with a very helpful Sam. A new box was dispatched and arrived promptly, and the original missing box turned up on the same day! Sam was very apologetic, polite and I was advised to keep the additional box received as an apology. My piggies love the hay and I would order from Haybox again

I am dissapointed by the colour and dust in this batch. I have raised it however all customer service say is it happened with natural hay however it’s not cheap so I would think the quality checks would be better.
