Great way to find out what hay your bunnies prefer!

A good sample of four different types of hay. I was looking for something very soft for a guinea pig with a mouth problem. All the hay is very fresh and sweet smelling and I have to decide whether I should change from my regular supplier.

The chinchillas are loving the Timothy Hay samples.

Liked that you can try different types of hay to see if the bunnies like them and they did have a preference, will definitely get more hay, but a larger amount.

Guinea pigs and Skinny pigs loved the hay. Especially the soft Timothy! We had lots of popcorns and happy munching.

Jerry our bunny is enjoying trying out the hay. He is currently enjoying the mixed selection. He don’t normally eat much hay, we have seen a difference already.

My girls loved the taster bags. Their favourite seemed to be the course cut Timothy and their least favourite was the soft Timothy. I shall be ordering hay from here in future - lovely fresh and green. Two happy Guinea pigs.

I wasn’t sure on what Hay would be there favourite so the taster pack was ideal . We didn’t have a firm favourite as Mabel and Sidney loved them all . xx

A good idea to try before deciding on which hay is best for your bunny. One bunny has had problems with his front incissors. He had to have them removed. Needless to say he's not that keen on any hay at the moment. i was good to be able to try him with a couple of the different sorts.

My rabbit loved some of the hay not all. It’s a really good idea so that you can test to see which hay your buns love the most!

Such good quality hay my guinea pigs loved it so much, not sharp nice and soft so no harm to me or the piggies, will be buying more.

Our French lop bunnies loved trying new varieties of hay!

We have been buying the same hay for our very fussy rabbits for years and it has recently been discontinued. We now have the task of finding an alternative hay they will eat. This tasters is perfect because then we can let the bunnies pick their favourite. Brilliant idea!

Have tried all samples side by side but haven't had an empty bowl. The bowls shown in the photo are for 2 rabbits & in 24 hours we're lucky if half has been eaten. We've recently cut down on pellets & veggies under vets recommendation to get them to eat more hay. Unfortunately for the price they don't eat anymore than do of our pet shop hay.

The quality and quantity that l received in the taster pack was amazing! I let my guinea pigs sample each one, and the results were: my guinea pigs was not that interested in the hay, sniffed it a few times and ate a tiny amount. I put some hay in each area of the cage and one of my guinea pigs started sneezing and rubbing his nose, this went on for a while, until l decided to remove the hay from the cage, the sneezing stopped and my guinea pig started roaming round the cage again. I will just accept that l have fussy guinea pigs, which is a shame, because the hay was dust free and very good quality.

I’ve been ordering hay from you, for my beautiful bunny for quite a long time now and it never fails to satisfy, she absolutely loves it! Also delivery time is super quick which I’m so grateful for because sometimes I’ve almost run out, which would never do! Oh and cleaning up is easier as the hay is in long strands, less waste and bitty bits! Thank you Haybox! x

I’ve tried several types of hay from pet and feed stores for my new bunny and he wasn’t eating very much of any, and I came across this free taster box so I thought it was worth a shot. I did quite a good trial with putting it in separate bowls. As you can see he definitely preferred the soft cut Timothy hay, and after getting a similar hay from a feed store and him refusing it again, I guess hay box must have something special in it to make him eat it so much more! I’ve since ordered a 5kg box of this cut and he loves it. It is very green and fresh, and with the taster box you’ll be wasting less trying to find the correct type to keep your pet happy and healthy. It is worth the postage.

The rabbits were not really that enthusiastic about any of the hay. The guinea pigs were much more interested but they always are for hay.

Sammy, my house bunny love grass hates hay. I bought a taster pack in the hope there would be something he liked, there wasn’t. I’m sure the hay is very good, It had a lovely fresh smell. I mixed it in with his grass, herbs and bunny safe weeds. He ate everything except the hay. This happened with every hay sample. I’ll have to keep looking for different hay and hope I find one he likes

You wouldn't believe how many types of "hay" are about. Hay was just hay to me but not to these two!!! I had never bought meadow hay or even thought about it however after trying it in the tester pack it's there new favourite hay. So good to try before you buy. Thanks

My guinea pigs love them all especially the blend and meadow hay, will be getting them in future!

The ‘Blend ‘ our two Guinea pigs found too ‘stalky’ but the ‘soft’ they love. So mainly ‘soft’ but some ‘blend’ for the tasty seed heads was ideal. They were ‘on holiday’ here but have gone home with your hay and I expect will want more.

I love giving this little bags of hay straight to the rabbits and watch them get stuck in

Hay arrived in great condition! Looks so fresh and green! I really appreciate how the packaging is paper and card, much better for the environment. Bought Timothy hay and a started pack. Guineas seem to like the soft cut Timothy hay the best so far!

This was our first Hay Box order and the Taster Pack was a great idea. It enabled us to see what type of hay our guinea pigs prefered without the need to buy larger quantities that might go to waste. One of the Taster Pack items was a clear favourite, so that will go onto our next order.

The Hay was fresh and dust free, but my impossibly fussy rabbit wasn’t that impressed. (This has been the case with hay in general).

The guineas loved each of the bags of hay. What a lovely treat to have a selection of 4 bags. I don’t know how much a big bag is so I can’t say anything about ordering one but I will investigate as they really enjoyed it
