50/50 Hay Box

We absolutely LOVE hay box! By far the best hay around! The 50/50 blend is perfect! I wonder if you have considered a smaller 50/50 box? 2.5kg in total? I struggle with storage so this would definitely be something I would buy.

Our rabbit absolutely loves the hay, the only thing we dislike at the minute is the packaging. The compressed packaging is way better than the old big boxes but would prefer the hay to come in multiple smaller compressed sizes so they are easier to handle and store.

We love the hay but not so keen on the new large boxes I’m afraid, too large to store!

Excellent product

Hay is good, although a little less green than the last order- which was fabulous. Unfortunately though one of the bags arrived split in the box- which makes it trickier for storage.

I love the haybox, the hay comes freshly packed and I often change my subscription so my pigs have different hay (also i suffer with hay allergy) so I’m just trying to find one that doesn’t set me off. My order arrives on time & if I have a problem they are quite quick to get back to me! The hay is decent price and I have recently gone to a 10kg as I get through the 5kg within the time frame and don’t want to pay the £5 postage each time I have to reorder more. Can’t fault the quality of hay, the customer service or delivery! Thank you highly recommend!

Just what bunnies needed

I like that it's now in recyclable plastic as it seems to keep fresh for longer and prevents damp, but it's tricky to get it if the bags without hay going everywhere and the Timothy hay isn't as long cut as it used to be.

Wouldn't give my guinea pigs anything else now they love it.

Love the amount of hay you get for the price, my bunny absolutely loves this hay and the hay cookies too. I wouldn’t go anyway else!

I'm so disappointed. As always the quality of the hay is absolutely great but it arrived wrapped in plastic. One of the main reasons I buy from haybox is that it was plastic free. I know some places will recycle soft plastic but it is so much better not to use it all. What a shame.

Fantastic that it's now packaged in 2 separate bags rather than loose in 2 separate boxes, much easier to store and to keep fresh , please don't revert back. Fast and well tracked delivery as always and good quality hay, thanks.

I lover this product then they started putting it in smaller boxes and plastic. I don't like the idea of using plastic but also the hay seems more flattened down. Not impressed with the changes at all. was fantastic bought many times before the changes Not sure if I will keep up my subscription if this continues. Not good for the environment.

They’ve updated packaging which makes it so much easier to store! Very happy with improvements and we will continue to purchase

Our bunny loves this hay and has done ever since we discovered it. However the packaging has changed and it is not as convenient as before. I can’t close the plastic bag to seal it, even when I’ve taken hay out (which is a fight now as it’s compressed so intensely) to put in a smaller container which used to work perfectly when it was just cardboard boxes (great as they stacked too, plastic bags don’t). The one small positive is that like how it won’t get damp if ever left outside by couriers (which hadn’t happened before). She still loves the hay though so I will fight with it just for her

I like the new packaging of a smaller box making it much easier to store. Disappointing that despite half the packaging size delivery charges were still the same.

The guinea pigs all loved the meadow and Timothy hay, one piggy especially went nuts for the lovely green Timothy hay

Why they have changed the hay i don't know its dry not even green like it use to be,i can get a bail of hay localy for £5 thats better than this.Should have left things as they were,wont be buying again shame as the buns use to love it.

I used to get a box of Timothy hay and a box of meadow hay, not all squashed down. This time I got 1 box and both Timothy and meadow hays were squashed into a bag and both placed in 1 box.

Fab hay as always. Love the new packaging too. Wouldn’t buy from anywhere else.

Used this product for nearly 12 months. When it arrived in boxes it was strand of hay was nice and long. now with the new packaging it too compact and there is a lot of fines and strands of hay are smaller. Also a 5kg box lasted over a week but now a bag delivered saturday night is nearly gone by tuesday night. i don’t think the weight is less it’s just so compacted i’m probably wasting a lot. Time to look for a different supplier which is a shame.

Guinness and Oreo so happy Hay Box deliver here. New packaging great. My 2 are currently munching on the coarse hay before bed. They love the blend hay. Amazing quality as always. Will post another picture of hay soon.

No problem with the hay but there wasn't much of it left, the box was ripped to pieces. Not what I've come to expect. Very disappointed.

The piggies love the hay. Although I'm a bit confused about the 50/50 element as 1 box is huge and the other her much smaller? More like 60/40. Why is this?

I have attempted to get a response from haybox regarding a damp yellow box of hay which was delivered. This was part of a 50/50 haybox blend. I have just emailed for the 3rd time asking for collection of the hay and a full refund. I was previously happy with deliveries but due to the fact I have had no response I'm afraid I am no longer a customer.

She loves her hay, as do the others. She gets about, we have to keep everything high up out of reach!

I found a small piece of plastic blue string in the timothy hay, not great for small animal safety.

The boxes were packed full a good quality hay and my piggies enjoy it, as they are always munching on it

meadow hay no did not like to much brown in it, timothy hay was alright my two boys like the seed heads but these are few and far between.
