Our Ultra Premium & extremely popular ‘Perfect Blend’ is the perfect amount of both stalky and soft timothy hay. If you're looking for something extra stalky, we recommend opting for our 'Timothy Coarse Cut'. Or for something softer, our 'Timothy Soft Cut'.

I ran out of Haybox hay so my guinea pigs spent 3 days on supermarket hay. They pulled it out of the net and covered the whole cage floor with it rather than eating it, making a big mess! The pigs and I were all very relieved when the Haybox order arrived and they started eating the hay again!

I think the prompt service provided by Haybox is excellent and my rabbits enjoy the hay quality and love the forage options. It is however disappointing that Yodel are used as a courier “service” and I have encountered numerous issues with them delivering Haybox parcels. I have raised with Yodel each time but issues keep occurring - never had issues with previous courier companies. My only complaint as the products are great.

I'm afraid I didn't like this box of hay. I've been buying hay box for a couple of years now and have always loved it for my piggies. But this box had tiny broken stems in it, full length folded stems amongst the rest and it was very dusty. One of my pigs has had respiratory problems so this was a major issue. This was an additional order so I'll see what my next two subscribed boxes are like.

I love haybox, it's the best hay I've ever used. The first box I got was amazing, it was such green fresh hay, long nice shards, but each box I get seems a bit more dryer and not as good each time. I still think it's the best, as it's never been brown. Delivery is always great. It's just that I would love to go back to the initial quality. I wonder if they give you the high standard at the start to get your business but after it goes a bit worse. But then again it could be weather etc so hopefully I see it again.
My current box is very dry . It would be good if they put on website the current hay conditions so rather then blame the company the consumer is just aware it may not be the best season. With knowledge I think consumers would be happier and know what to expect.

Wonderful hay, I use the hand packed and it's so fresh and well packaged, the guinea pigs have loved it for a good 3 years now. Wouldn't use anything else by choice. I've occasionally had to use pet shop meadow hay in emergencies and they don't like it one bit... when they get Haybox hay, they popcorn!

I liked the Hay box when it was hand packed, but it meant a lot of boxes which presented a storage problem. The machine packed is fine, only they is a lot of very small 're- cut' hay pieces at the bottom of the box.

Have come back to Haybox to try the hand picked hay. I stopped ordering when it was changed to the plastic packed bales as I prefer the longer strands and I don't have a problem with storage. Pleased to say that it is brilliant quality. My two aren't usually keen on stalky hay but I try to get them to eat some as it's good for their digestion. They are both eating this so it must be good.
I always used to buy your soft cut hay so am looking forward to this option being available in the hand picked option.

Box was delivered open. No tape or evidence of any tape on one side of the box, meaning my hay could have been left open to the elements, contaminated or I could have even lost some.
Never had a problem before, but as a regular customer I feel disappointed. Especially when I spend that little extra to make sure my hay is hand packed.
