Waw, this is wonderful hay.. we had always ordered Science Select for our piggy boys, and it was pricey and 20% of the bag was dust.. we learned about HayBox from Squeak Dreams, and ordered both the blend and the soft cut - and our piggies are crazy for it!! We tend to mix the two hay types together, and I have never seen this - the boys eat up every - single - strand! No waste, they love it so much. It also works out cheaper than the old brand, and clearly the quality is unbelievable.. Huge thumbs up, best hay ever, the piggies say :)

I was actually really disappointed with it, I was expecting hay and what arrived was better described as straw. It was coarse and scratchy, and my guinea pigs are not eating it like they would normally eat Timothy hay.

I have been struggling to find good quality Timothy hay for my guineapigs. I then came across Haybox and placed an order, it was amazingly priced and arrived very quickly. The quality of the hay was amazing, I had ordered the ‘blend’ which had both soft bits of hay & the more coarse heads. It smelled amazing & was lovely and green. I am so happy I can now order good quality hay to the Channel Islands!

The box arrived completely battered. One side was badly crushed and one side had the sellotape coming off. You need to send reinforced boxes or at the very least use more sellotape (wider and stronger). When I asked he delivery guy why the box was in that state, he rudely replied 'tell that business to send their stuff in several boxes!!!'. No apologies or nothing. I am not impressed as it is not the first time...

The hay is great and our buns love it. However, the 10kgs were put in one cardboard box which was too heavy and resulted in it being completely battered by the time it arrived. Please could the packaging be a little more sturdy?

Delivery and packaging good as ever. However, marked decline in the quality of hay in September 2025 compared to previous months and years - now mainly short offcuts and powedery rather than longer pieces/cuts. We'll give it one more try before looking and recommending elsewhere. Disappointed.
