It is supposed to be a mix of timothy hay and meadow hay, all I can find in it is extremely long strands of timothy hay, far too long and stalky for my guinea pigs.
Had to throw most of it away and mix what bits were left myself.

My bunnies love your hay, and we have been buying hay from you for years.
Just recently I find I am waiting a long time for order fulfilment and delivery. This is a real change from when we first began using Haybox 4 years ago. I don't have space to store more than one box at a time but I am having to order way ahead of time because it's taking ages to arrive from when an order is placed.
It makes it very difficult and feels unreliable. I don't want to buy our hay elsewhere but I am starting to consider it.

Hi I still have not even received my products from Haybox. The hay is always of good quality but since changing currier delivery time has become uncertain and there is no proper communication from DX the new delivery service Haybox is using. The last time this also arrived very late and they just leave my hay outside. I'm happy to pay for good quality hay from Haybox but if this doesn't change I may need to look for a new provider.

We have not received our delivery. We ordered on December 29th. I had an email to say we would have the delivery by Friday 2nd January but it still has not been delivered. Please could you let me know asap when delivery will be or send out another box as our da bit is totally out of hay now. We have never had an issue with your company before so this is disappointing.

As always I am more than happy with the quality of hay and the speed with which it is delivered after ordering. I recommend you to everyone.
On this occasion I just want to make you aware that the box the hay came in was soaking wet (or had been) to the point where it was falling apart. It wasn't a problem for us as I order the pre packed hay so when I checked, it was thankfully dry. Might be an issue for other customers though. This isn't a complaint. Just making you aware that perhaps it wasn't stored properly when out for delivery.

I have had my hay delivered by Haybox for some time now, as my rabbits will not eat anything I buy from local pet superstores. It always looks brown or dry and they wee on it rather than eat it.
Haybox has always been a winner, it smells fresh and they always rush to the hay rack when it has been refilled. This order was the first order where I had an issue, but it was resolved quickly and I had the missing bags delivered within the next couple of days so no drama. Would not buy from anywhere else.

Waited 8 days for DX to deliver my hay and still it hasn't been delivered. I'm not happy as now I'm out of timothy blend. DX sent me a email on the 5th of December 2025 telling me they would deliver and still its not received. So now I have no option but to get my hay from little hay co and the hay shed as this is happening to every order every month, I spend at least £70 a month on hay alone from this company and their service has deteriated and is now unreliable, I can't risktake when my guinea with sensitive stomach will only eat this hay and so I have had to go and order from another company

Really rate this company. My order was lost in the courier's system so they sent out another box straight away. And the hay smells and looks wonderful compared to the usual pet shop variety. Our piggies get so excited when I'm topping their rack up!

Haybox brilliant.... delivery not so good. We were in when they said they tried to deliver. Was cross because l had run out and was waiting for my hay.... normally if we are not in they leave at outside my door which is fine... l asked them to deliver on Monday which they said they would... that evening we were going out and the parcel HAD been delivered but was left outside in the rain and was soaking wet. Not happy..

I haven’t received my order still. It was Due on 03/12/2025, and it is now 07/12/2025. I have attempted to contact yourselves and DX and had no response. We have animals that rely on a frequent delivery, due to them being Rabbits & Guinea Pigs. I have had to go out and buy shop hay as we have NOTHING left from Haybox, and our animals could die from not having access to good quality hay. I have spent £40+ on a 10kg box which usually comes within 2-3 days. And we have been worried about our babies. I do not like the new courier you are using. And if it’s remaining with DX. We will have to shop elsewhere as it’s been 5 days and we have heard and received nothing. :(

This is by far the best quality Timothy hay I have had for my rabbits. It is always in big, fresh smelling pieces, unlike some others I have had that are like dust at the bottom of the box. My bunnies eat this like they eat treats - it really is fabulous!

I’ve been using Haybox for two years now and I’ve never experienced this.
First of all, I think it was a bit naughty of them not to let me know that they had changed courier, as when they used Yodel my order always came within two-three days of purchase and the box arrived in excellent condition. However, since changing to DX Express, this has been very different. It took 6 days for my order to arrive which is very unusual and never happened with Yodel, and when it did finally arrive the box was covered in silty mud and had water damage on the inside. Luckily the hay was fine, but that does not excuse how they delivered it.
I’m hoping this doesn’t happen again but if it does I will have to cancel my subscription, as I cannot afford to wait 6 days for hay and will have to buy elsewhere.

We have been loyal customers since May, continually upgrading to the larger boxes as our guinea pig family has grown to six! This hay is simply the best. It arrives so green and fresh, maintaining a beautiful, aromatic scent until the last strand is gone (the 10kg box lasts us about a month). The hand-packed quality is exceptional—it looks like "beautifully folded laundry." Our piggies adore it, and we appreciate the consistent premium quality and excellent price point. We will never switch brands.
