Delivery and packaging good as ever. However, marked decline in the quality of hay in September 2025 compared to previous months and years - now mainly short offcuts and powedery rather than longer pieces/cuts. We'll give it one more try before looking and recommending elsewhere. Disappointed.

Unfortunately, our rabbits are not a fan of it, and we are going to have to replace it with their normal 'soft cut' only hay.
We had hoped that there was a 50/50 mix but looking at the two packages that we received, there is a lot more course Timothy hay.
It does smell very nice, and if your rabbits are happy with courser hay, then we still recommend this product.

Was hoping it would have come in 2 bags of 2.5 kgs.
as I share the hay with my grandaughter so I have had to transfer half into one of the old bags.
If I ask next time please could I have 2 x 2.5kgs otherwise very satisfied with my order.

I've been buying Haybox for my 5-year old Chewy and he won't eat anything else apart from it! That says a lot about the quality of the hay. However, the last 2 orders I received of the 2.5kg compressed bale Timothy Hay seem to have significantly less hay in the bag... A bit disappointed but will continue buying for now...

My rabbits are leaving lots of it. They don't like the long stalky bits or flowers, it's just scattered everywhere in their enclosure.
Perhaps they've had their fill, but a lot is going to waste and only gave them a handful each.
Also, I always feel pressured to buy too much, as postage is otherwise so much, and adds a lot to cost of hay. The problem is then storing it so that it keeps fresh. I would prefer X2 smaller boxes, as hard to fit the 10kg box anywhere as so big, but hey that's my problem.
I gave up storing in a shed I brought for the purpose and took damp, also attic it went mouldy.. perhaps if you had a garage might be okay? And not too damp/air-flow to keep fresh, so not wasted.

The box arrived damaged and 2 hours late which was not fantastic. That's the delivery company though so no blame laid. The hay looks nice enough but my rabbits have not taken to it at all.
