Timothy Soft Cut Hay Box
Soft cut is perfect for fussy eaters, its a real gourmet hay! It has very few stems and more of those luscious leaves. Perfect to feed on its own or to mix with our other hays. If you're looking for something with a bit more coarse with more stems, we suggest opting for our ‘Timothy Blend’ or 'Timothy Coarse Cut' instead.

* There is natural batch to batch variation with all hays but our soft cut is particularly difficult to perfect, so if your little ones have a specific preference, do please get in touch for a detailed description of the current harvest. The cut of this hay can vary from 100% soft to a mix of leaf and stem, depending on Mother Nature and the weather!

Rabbits require a diet of at least 80-90% of good quality nutritious hay, with the remainder being a mix of pellets, fruit, veg & herbs.

I have three baby Guinea pigs they are very fussy they seem to like this hay more than anything else it’s just a little pricey but the 5 kilo bale does seem to last the hay is lovely long stranded

The best hay going! Have been buying this Timothy hau for a couple of years for our buns, the local garden center hay was on but the buns were not really interested. Once I discovered this, they love it. We had 5 buns at one point so had trays of hay all over the garden. They loved ir, made nests in it, foraged in it too. The smell alone is lovely and I think if I were a bunny I woukd love it too. Thanks for such a great product

I've stopped ordering from Haybox for a while due to bad quality hay - lots of dry and dusts without much healthy green soft leaves (I always ordered soft cut). I thought I would give it another try again hence ordered it this time, but unfortunately Haybox let me down again with the quality of the hay. Disappointed.

I have been buying bales of hay from a farm every month, but it is pot luck as regards dust. So I purchased some 'Soft Cut, processed bale' for the first time and this makes up the vast majority of my piggies' daily hay. They love it! There is no dust, no sneezing, three very happy guinea pigs and a very happy owner! The picture I attach shows Kernel Mustard in front, Splodge in the centre, and little Bandit is buried at the back! I asked them for a quote - they said **munch munch munch ** which says it all!

Wrong box was sent out, and they quickly sent me out a replacement for what I should’ve received, it’s a little drier and not as soft and green but the weather has been very hot so I understand that.

They hay it’s self seems great the only downfall is how the package arrived the delivery service are the ones at fault as the box had a big hole in the side and was clearly battered which wouldn’t usually bother me but as it is recommended by the company to keep the hay in the box I don’t have storage big enough to transfer the hay too so the hay is getting everywhere and probably won’t last as well. Maybe the packaging could be improved to stop this happening in future.

The soft cut timothy hay is green and fresh, my guinea pigs, who are very fusdy about which hay thry will eat, love it. I couldnt find anything of that high quality in my local pet shop or online (my usual supplier was out of stock so i am glad i gave Haybox a try. Soft cut hay is also v good for guinea pigs that enjoy plunging head first into the hay as fewer eye pokes. The hay was delivered quickly and i like the hay being able to breath in a cardboard box rather than a plastic bag.

Yodel somehow managed to damage the original delivery (not sure how you damage two bales of hay, but somehow they managed this). I contacted HayBox and they were fantastic, another package was dispatched immediately for next day delivery (this time by DPD!) Very happy with the level of customer service.

Have purchased this hay for a number of years. Not good, this has changed! It’s not the same. I did contact and was advised it changes and is mixed with 3 cuts but my bunnies whom have ate this for 3+ years will not touch it, have had to source hay elsewhere

I have tried to feed my bunny a number of different types of hay but the only one he will eat is Timothy Hay 'Soft Cut'. I will try him with the free taster packs but I think he will probably still only eat the Soft Cut. Delivery from the Hay Box is quick and reliable.

Whilst my guinea pigs enjoy Haybox Timothy hay and the quality is of a good standard I was really disappointed in the way that it was delivered. Box seal was ripped on the underside causing a lot of loose hay/dust to cover the floor inside.
