Timothy Soft Cut Hay Box
Soft cut is perfect for fussy eaters, its a real gourmet hay! It has very few stems and more of those luscious leaves. Perfect to feed on its own or to mix with our other hays. If you're looking for something with a bit more coarse with more stems, we suggest opting for our ‘Timothy Blend’ or 'Timothy Coarse Cut' instead.
Characteristics

- A dark green colour with some brown leaf present
* There is natural batch to batch variation with all hays but our soft cut is particularly difficult to perfect, so if your little ones have a specific preference, do please get in touch for a detailed description of the current harvest. The cut of this hay can vary from 100% soft to a mix of leaf and stem, depending on Mother Nature and the weather!

Have purchased this hay for a number of years. The last box I ordered looks different and my bunny is refusing to eat it, my bunny normally loves this hay and I normally fill her hay rack up to 5-6 times a day but since receiving this latest box she won't touch it at all. Not good, this has changed! It’s not the same. I did contact and was advised it changes and is mixed with 3 cuts but my bunnies whom have ate this for 3+ years will not touch it, have had to source hay elsewhere

I have tried to feed my bunny a number of different types of hay but the only one he will eat is Timothy Hay 'Soft Cut'. I will try him with the free taster packs but I think he will probably still only eat the Soft Cut. Delivery from the Hay Box is quick and reliable.

Whilst my guinea pigs enjoy Haybox Timothy hay and the quality is of a good standard I was really disappointed in the way that it was delivered. Box seal was ripped on the underside causing a lot of loose hay/dust to cover the floor inside.

Lately it’s a bit too dusty, smells different, it’s just very soft hay, not stalky at all, and it used to have stalky hay in it too, and with this recent order I found some weird sticks from a different plant, which I had to be careful with, not knowing what it was or if it could harm the bunnies. I don’t want to look for other suppliers, I just hope it’s a phase. I can understand it may not be anyone’s fault also. Thank you for your hard work

This is always very good quality hay. Even when, nationally, the general quality of hay has been poor over the winter, Haybox hay is always much better than other brands. Our guinea pigs love it! I don’t know what has happened to your soft cut hay but it used to be long strands and the last two boxes I’ve had have just been small chopped up bits and my rabbit won’t touch it at all! Won’t be ordering again I’m afraid.

I have been a customer with HayBox since 2021 with no problems always knew that the quality would be good and you would know when you were getting it delivered. This past year the quality has been awful very dry , very brown and smells horrible, the courier you are currently using deliver whenever they like just leaving on doorstep without ringing doorbell has been 9pm on occasions out in the rain, DPD always gave you a time and handed straight to you, the order I have recently received will be my last, have now changed to another supplier

I’ve ordered from Haybox for quite a while and it’s always been really good quality, however this time I ordered 10kg and both boxes of 5kg are really disappointing. They are not green at all, it’s over dried, brown tint and stringy, I’ve got 10kg and my rabbit won’t eat it :(
